Liquid cleaners for spray and flood cleaning applications

The concentrated aqueous degreasing agents of our VR-X series contain a very efficient tenside system which, at temperatures of over 40 °C, softens greasy contaminants within a few minutes and helps penetrate and remove grease and dirt from the surface.

Depending on the material and the degree of surface contaminants, the product can have an acid, neutral or alkaline formulation.

Neutral formulations without supporting salt systems get their extreme cleaning power in the solution applied from a highly concentrated tenside system. Due to the resulting low intrinsic conductivity these products do not - or almost not - form deposits in the drying areas of the cleaning equipment. In addition, a temporary corrosion inhibitor for low-alloy steel is already integrated into many of these products.

Acid cleaners for spray rinsing applications contain an organic or anorganic acid as aqueous basis; in combination with tensides or inhibitors. They are suitable for several types of applications, in particular to degrease light and non-ferrous alloys such as aluminium, brass, or zinc. While these alloys are degreased during the spray rinsing process, aged oxidation layers on the surface are renewed so that the cleaned parts get a new brightened metallic aspect. This adequately prepare the surface for subsequent processes such as painting. Additionally, acid cleaners are also suitable for the removal of lime and rust deposits resulting from the contact with hard water or outdoor exposure.

Liquid Cleaning Products for Dipping and Ultrasonic Cleaning

Generally, cleansing by dipping is the least efficient cleansing method. Usually, the part-supporting systems and baskets only make simple lifting, lowering, drum or tilting movements so that the liquid can only flow around the parts. Therefore, the recommended concentrations for our products are higher (30 to 50 g/l), and cleaning times are longer.

When using ultrasonic vibrations in the dipping bath, cavitation activity does considerably accelerate the cleaning process and increase its efficiency. Products proposed in the following are all tested and currently used by our customers in real-life industrial cleaning applications -in both maintenance or production operations.

Depending on cleaning system in place, you have the choice of products with oil emulsifying or demulsifying characteristics. This lets you take full advantage of any peripheral equipment you have in your cleaning system such as ultrafiltration or oil separators.
